Dear friends,
There is a moroccan policewoman at the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca that is specialized in intimidating older moroccan ladies travelling abroad. This policewoman is stationed at the very last checkpoint before heading out of the terminal into the plane (or the bus that takes passengers to the plane). Her duties are the physical search of the women's bodies for security purposes. The search is normally conducted behind a curtain for privacy purposes. Everything is fine, except the poliewoman, instread of doing the body search as she is supposed to do, asks the women to open their purses and wallets. Upon spotting money, she helps herself into whatever bills and just declares:"I'am taking this". She does not take the whole thing of course, but she takes a few bills that she is almost sure the passengers will not make a big a deal out of. This happened to a couple of ladies I know.
Please warn your friends and relatives of this rip off. Try to spread the word about this injustice, and of course, feel free to copy and past, translate, paraphrase, whatever you like, this message, hopefully, somebody with some decency will do something about this thief in a police uniform.
By the way, I do not have the name of this policewoman, as the two ladies who told me this story were too shocked to pay attention. Coincidentally, one of these two ladies is my own mother who was coming to visit me.
