I think that guy was the only real man standing in the whole world against what's going on in Iraq. I mean for someone to make his point that way, stand up
and throw not one shoe but two, it is really something.

Indeed a true man who deserves a statue.... The guy is already a heroe to the iraqi people but i'm sure he has lots of fans all over the world  , including myself. In politics, a shoe-hit is more effective than a bullet... it's peacefull
(it missed its target) but at the same time the point is made and overall the 'akward' incident caused a lot of laughter around the world. If only we
could make war with shoe-hits...although the female shoes could be deadly

PS: just forgot to mention that Bush started his first day in office with eggs thrown at him, and he finished with shoes .

I found it very very funny and highly symbolic. It sums up Bush's administration and I would even say that 90% of the planet's population would not
mind throwing a pair of shoes at the guy for the messes he created. so the iraqi journalist did for them.
